Air rifle seized during Operation Steady Guard exercises

Hutton Road, St. Ann's, Port of Spain

Officers attached to the Port of Spain Division conducted Operation Steady Guard anti-crime exercises between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on February 28, 2026. The operation targeted several areas including Hutton Road, Fondes Amandes, Belmont Valley Road, Mango Rose, and St. Paul Street. During the exercise, officers seized one air rifle along Hutton Road in St. Ann's. The seized weapon was taken into police custody as part of the coordinated anti-crime initiative.
