A 24-year-old man was robbed on Monday, March 3, 2026, at approximately 1:15 p.m. along Tumpuna Road near Guildview Street after arranging to purchase an iPhone through Facebook Marketplace. Two men approached the victim, one armed with a cutlass, and announced a robbery, taking his wallet containing a First Citizens Bank card and $1,500 TTD, as well as a money clip with an additional $1,500 TTD. The victim managed to escape by running east along Guildview Street. He subsequently received email notifications indicating that his stolen bank card was being used at various locations, suggesting the assailants attempted to use the card fraudulently.
