Isaiah Garcia, 38, was fatally shot outside his apartment in D'Abadie at 7:15 a.m. Residents heard several gunshots, and police found Garcia lying on the road with multiple gunshot wounds. Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. He had been out on bail for a shooting-related offence and was wearing a court-ordered ankle monitoring device. He was scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m., less than two hours after the fatal shooting.
