Belmont man shot along Nelson Street (Leandro Miller, 33)

Corner of Duke and Nelson Streets, Port of Spain

A 33-year-old man identified as Leandro Miller of Belmont was shot and wounded at the corner of Duke and Nelson Streets in Port of Spain on March 10, 2026. Miller sustained gunshot wounds to his lower feet and legs during the incident. He was taken for medical treatment and warded in stable condition. Police investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the shooting.
