Three arrested after rifle and ammunition seized in Cunupia SOE operation

Munroe Road, Cunupia, Munroe Settlement , Chaguanas

Police officers conducted an Operation Steady Guard exercise in the Cunupia district on Thursday, March 12, 2026, between 4 pm and 10 pm during a State of Emergency operation. Officers searched a house along Munroe Road and discovered and seized a rifle along with several rounds of ammunition. A 33-year-old man from Cunupia, a 30-year-old man from Longdenville, and a 24-year-old woman from Longdenville were arrested in connection with the find.
