Police officers seized a homemade shotgun and one round of 12-gauge ammunition during an anti-crime exercise in St Joseph on Friday, March 14, 2026. Acting on intelligence, officers conducted a search in a bushy area along Farm Road where the weapon and ammunition were discovered and confiscated. No arrests were reported. The operation was led by ACP Singh, Senior Superintendent Gift, Superintendent and ASP Barath Jaikaran.
