Siparia Nurse Robbed and Wounded During Social Media Meetup in St. James

Abous Circular and Dundonald Hill, St. James, Port of Spain

A geriatric nurse from Siparia was robbed of his $130,000 Kia Sportage and a high-end cellphone after going to St. James to meet an individual he met via social media. The victim arrived at Dundonald Hill around 9:45 p.m. to meet a man known as "Sam." Upon entering a track near Ebenezer Link Road, he was accosted by three men, one armed with a knife. During a struggle, the victim sustained a wound to his right hand. The suspects relieved him of his vehicle keys and a Samsung S23 Ultra before driving off in his brown Kia Sportage, registration PDS 782. St. James police are currently investigating the incident.
