A 46-year-old female Canadian citizen and a 52-year-old man, both of Windsor Park, California, were robbed at Junction Bar at Macaulay Junction around 5 p.m. on March 29, 2026. One armed suspect confronted the male victim and announced the robbery while his accomplice shoved the woman to the ground, stealing $300 CAD, $1,000 TTD, and jewellery from her; the man was also robbed of jewellery. The suspects fled east on foot, but the male victim pursued them in a white Kia Rio along Macaulay Trace. During the chase, the vehicle collided with one of the suspects, who was then restrained by nearby residents until police arrived. The second suspect escaped into nearby bushes and remains at large.
