Police intercepted a white Kia 2700 on the Claxton Bay overpass during a traffic exercise on Monday morning around 7:25 a.m., coordinated by the Debe Operations Team and Traffic and Highway Patrol South Unit. A search of the vehicle revealed a black plastic bag containing 11 Glock 9mm pistols with magazines, 1 Benelli shotgun, 1 Sig MPX submachine gun with magazine, 288 rounds of 9mm ammunition, and 10 cartridges. Three occupants were detained: a 16-year-old of Claxton Bay, a 22-year-old scrap iron dealer, and a 23-year-old scrap iron dealer. Police believe the weapons are part of the stock stolen during Sunday's attack on the San Fernando Municipal Police Station. The vehicle was also seized.
