Palo Seco man hospitalised after brutal cutlass attack (Kemo Cupid, 47)

Beach Road, Santa Flora district, Santa Flora, Siparia

Kemo Cupid, 47, of Beach Road, Palo Seco, was attacked outside his home in the Santa Flora district on Friday, April 3 around 10:00 p.m. during a dispute while liming near his residence. Two men known by the aliases 'Negus' and 'Ragga' allegedly attacked Cupid with a cutlass, inflicting multiple chop wounds about his body. Relatives transported the injured man to Siparia Health Facility for initial treatment, then to San Fernando General Hospital for further care. The victim's wife reported the incident to police in the early hours of April 4, and officers responded to conduct enquiries with Crime Scene Investigators notified.
