A 23-year-old worker was robbed at gunpoint of TT$1,600 in cash at Al Muslim Gyro Burger and Grill in Rio Claro on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, around 10:35 p.m. Two masked men confronted the victim during sales: one in a white forensic coverall and black mask brandished a firearm, while the second in a dark t-shirt, 3/4 pants, and white mask stood guard. Fearing for his life, the victim handed over the cash. The suspects fled east along Naparima Mayaro Road and disappeared into nearby bushes. Police response and investigation status not detailed in article.
