Rio ClaroViolent Robbery at Business; Christion Diamond Andrews Detained

Tabaquite Road, Rio Claro, Rio Claro, Mayaro - Rio Claro

A violent robbery occurred at a business establishment along Tabaquite Road, Rio Claro on May 9, 2026, where armed offenders robbed the establishment of cash and alcoholic beverages while employees and customers were present. Christion Diamond Andrews, also known as 'Sonny,' was detained under a Preservation of the Peace Order (PDO) after authorities alleged he participated in the robbery. Stolen items connected to the robbery were recovered following Andrews' arrest. Police are investigating the incident; additional suspects may be involved in the armed robbery.
