Indian WalkMan Chopped in Late-Night Home Attack (Andrew Teesdale, 21)

6th Company Circular, Indian Walk , Princes Town

Andrew Teesdale, 21, of St Mary's Moruga was attacked with a cutlass at a residence on 6th Company Circular, Indian Walk around 11:00 PM on Sunday, April 5th. A man known to the victim as Shawn Cummings allegedly entered the home armed with a cutlass and attacked Teesdale, delivering several chops to his shoulder and head. Relatives intervened during the attack, allowing Teesdale to escape. He later sought assistance from nearby residents while the assailant fled the scene on foot. Police in the Princes Town district are searching for the suspect; no arrests have been made.
