Lange ParkSecurity Guard Fires on Armed Home Intruders at Garage

A security guard discharged two rounds from a Glock 9mm pistol at an armed intruder on the premises of a security garage compound along Tobago Road in Lange Park, Chaguanas on Monday around 12:35 a.m. The officer observed an individual in a white jersey with a covered face holding what appeared to be a firearm in the bushes near the rear gate and fired fearing an imminent threat. Following the gunfire, three suspects fled the area. No injuries were reported and police are investigating.
