Two women, aged 73 and 42, were robbed during a home invasion at their residence in Montrose, Chaguanas on Tuesday around 11:30 a.m. Three armed gunmen forced entry into the house and restrained both victims by tie-strapping their hands. The perpetrators ransacked the home and stole a cellular phone valued at $1,200, jewellery, and a quantity of cash before fleeing the scene. Both victims are homemakers and were present in the house at the time of the invasion. Constable Dass from Chaguanas Police Station is continuing investigations into the incident; no arrests have been made.
