Gopaul & Co. Ltd. in the Frederick Settlement Industrial Estate discovered a fraud scheme on Friday, April 24th, 2026, when an inventory check revealed discrepancies totalling $32,162 in stolen goods. Fraudsters presented fake invoices on two separate occasions—April 21st and April 24th—to company employees, who accepted the documents as legitimate and released the goods without verification. Police investigations confirmed the invoices were fraudulent. The company is counting major losses from the scheme.
