A 22-year-old woman reported that she visited her boyfriend's apartment on John Street, Cocorite on December 11th, 2025 around 8:00 p.m. When she attempted to leave later that night around 11:00 p.m., she was allegedly prevented from doing so after the man locked all doors and windows, trapping her inside. The woman stated that over the following period, she made multiple attempts to escape but was unable to do so as she had no access to keys and was physically restrained whenever she tried to exit. During her unlawful detention, she alleged that she was sexually assaulted by the man without her consent. Police are currently investigating the allegations and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
