MaturitaTwo Vehicles Torched in Suspected Firebombing (35-year-old)

Roadway outside victim's home, Maturita, Arima, Santa Rosa Heights , Arima

A 35-year-old man from Maturita, Arima lost two vehicles—a white Mazda 6 and white Mazda Familia—in a suspected firebombing on the night of April 29, 2026. The vehicles were parked along the roadway outside his home around 9:00 PM; around 1:30 AM on April 30, he was awakened by a loud noise and discovered both vehicles engulfed in flames. The fire was extinguished by the victim and his family. Police discovered approximately 16 glass bottles filled with gasoline at the front of the premises, indicating deliberate intent. Investigations are ongoing under PC Punter.
