Dennis Ali, a 60-year-old resident of River Branch Road, Kelly Village, was shot and critically wounded in the early morning hours of June 5, 2025, at Santa Monica Trace in El Carmen Village, St. Helena. Around 2:45 a.m., a 69-year-old friend discovered Ali lying on the roadway beside his white Nissan AD Station Wagon (registration PBS 5036), which had a gunshot hole in the windshield.
