St HelenaMechanic Jevan Stewart Ambushed, Shot Outside Home

Madras Road, St Helena, Tunapuna - Piarco

Mechanic Jevan Stewart, also known as Tallo, was shot multiple times outside his home on Madras Road, St Helena on Sunday, May 24, 2026 around 10:05 p.m. A masked gunman dressed in a white T-shirt and black pants emerged from a nearby white Toyota Aqua and fired multiple gunshots as Stewart was attempting to open his front gate after arriving home. Stewart sustained injuries to his head and hand and was rushed to hospital where he is fighting for his life. Relatives discovered him bleeding on the driveway as the gunman fled the scene. Officers responding to the scene recovered spent shell casings along the driveway and have launched investigations into the attack; no arrests have been made.
