Three people, including two-year-old Akinni Kafi, were shot and killed on Serraneau Road and Upper St Francois Valley Road, Belmont on Thursday morning around 8:35 AM. Dead are Aquil Kafi (30), Anthony Wilson aka 'Monster' (28), and toddler Akinni Kafi (2); 36-year-old Antonia Cain-Kafi was wounded in the attack. Officers responding to reports of loud explosions discovered two male bodies beside a silver Toyota Aqua and recovered approximately 20 spent shell casings at the scene. Investigators confirmed all victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The injured woman and one victim were transported to Port-of-Spain General Hospital by private vehicle. Police have classified the incident as gang-related and are investigating.
