A 39-year-old woman identified as Avion Atwell was stabbed in an early morning attack on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, around 4:25 a.m. in the vicinity of the sporting complex at Mahogany Trace, Savannah #01, Diego Martin. Atwell sustained stab wounds to the back of her neck during the incident. The exact circumstances surrounding the attack remain unknown at this time. She was transported to St. James Health Facility by police, where she received treatment before being transferred to the Port of Spain General Hospital. Atwell is listed in stable condition. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
