A cellular phone was stolen during a separate home invasion in Gasparillo earlier on Wednesday, May 7, 2026. The stolen phone was recovered from a 20-year-old suspect arrested during the police operation in Marabella that same evening. Police believe this incident is part of the same network of home invasions and robberies occurring across the Southern Division.
