EnterpriseHigh-Ranking Crime Group Member Arrested, Illegal Firearm Seized

Freedom Street, Extension, Enterprise, Chaguanas

A high-ranking member of a known crime group was arrested on Freedom Street, Extension Enterprise, Enterprise on Friday, May 15, 2026 at approximately 4:30 p.m. during an intelligence-led operation by the TTPS Special Operations Unit. Officers observed the suspect, who was wanted by police and the subject of a Preventative Detention Order (PDO), standing along the roadway. When the suspect fled into a nearby yard upon police approach, officers pursued and apprehended him. A revolver firearm containing two rounds of ammunition was recovered concealed in the front waistband of the suspect's pants during a search. The suspect was conveyed to the Central Police Station with the seized firearm and ammunition pending further investigations. The operation was directed by DCP Natasha George and coordinated by ACP Smith.
