A 47-year-old man was viciously beaten and stabbed by four masked attackers at his home on Sennon Village, Quinam Road, Siparia around 8:20 p.m. on May 13th. The four men, dressed in dark clothing and ski masks, confronted the victim and began beating him before one allegedly stabbed him multiple times with a knife. Despite suffering severe injuries, the victim managed to escape and seek medical attention at the Siparia District Health Facility before being transferred to the San Fernando General Hospital for further treatment. Police confirmed the victim sustained multiple stab wounds, a broken right arm, several broken ribs and other serious injuries linked to the assault. The investigation into the home invasion is ongoing; no arrests have been reported at this time.
