PhilippineMan Gunned Down Near PM's Home (Hollis Anthony Koylass)

Near Prime Minister's home, Philippine, Siparia

A man identified as Koylass was shot and killed near the Prime Minister's home in Philippine on Saturday evening and was pronounced dead at the scene. Koylass, who lived alone in Dow Village, South Oropouche, had recently confided to a relative that he felt unsafe and had been struggling with sleep. His sister Krystal stated that Koylass had been involved in an altercation in 2021 during which he was chopped—a matter still before the court—and had experienced another dispute earlier this year with men from his village, though that dispute had been resolved. San Fernando police are continuing investigations into the killing; no arrests have been made.
