Cunupia$20,000 Panadol Medication Stolen from Delivery Truck

101 Supermarket, Southern Main Road, Cunupia, Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo

A sales clerk's white Isuzu three-ton delivery truck was targeted outside 101 Supermarket on Southern Main Road, Cunupia on Thursday afternoon, May 21, 2026, with thieves stealing approximately TT$20,000 worth of Panadol medication. The victim parked and secured the truck on the supermarket compound shortly after 12:15 p.m. and entered the store to conduct sales, during which he noticed a man watching him suspiciously. Upon returning to the vehicle, the victim observed a second suspect closing the truck's side door and shouted at him to put back what he was taking; the suspect then fled to a nearby silver Nissan Wingroad wagon bearing registration PDN 5747. A first suspect exited the supermarket, crossed the roadway, and ran south along Southern Main Road before boarding the same vehicle, which sped away from the scene. Police discovered the truck's side door had been forced open and two cases containing assorted Panadol Ultra and Panadol Extra Strength 500mg tablets were missing. Investigators are pursuing leads on the suspects and the getaway vehicle; no arrests have been made.
