Mon ReposPolice Recover $55,000 Cash and Cellphone at Robbery Scene

Funrose Street, San Fernando

During the investigation of an armed robbery on Funrose Street, Mon Repos on Saturday night, police recovered $55,000 in old Trinidad and Tobago currency and a Samsung cellphone from the scene. Officers from Mon Repos CID and Crime Scene Investigators processed the area and secured the recovered items as evidence. The cash and cellphone were recovered in connection with the armed robbery and shooting incident that occurred at approximately 10:13 p.m. The recovered currency and device are being held as evidence in the ongoing investigation.
