CouvaRicardo Diaz Shot Dead on Rivulet Road (Thursday Afternoon)

Rivulet Road, Couva, Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo

Ricardo Diaz was shot and killed while driving his black BYD SUV along Rivulet Road in Couva on Thursday afternoon at approximately 4:00 PM. A vehicle pulled into his pathway, forcing him to stop, and occupants of that vehicle opened fire on the SUV, striking Diaz multiple times about the body. Diaz died at the scene and the shooters escaped. Police are investigating the killing and have yet to determine a motive for the incident. No arrests have been made.
