A retired police officer, 55, had his black tactical canvas bag stolen from his fruit stall in Couva on Tuesday, June 30, while he was attending to customers. The bag contained a licensed Glock 19 Gen 4 9mm pistol, ammunition, magazines, police-issued identification card, badge, and Firearm User's Licence. The victim left the bag unattended on a table for approximately five minutes before discovering it was missing.
