Officers from the CID/CRO Special Operations Unit recovered a stolen Glock 19 Gen 4 9mm pistol, ammunition, police badge, identification card, and Firearm User's Licence during an intelligence-led anti-crime exercise on Tuesday, June 30, around 10:40 p.m. The items were discovered hidden in bushes in the vicinity of a car park along Toolsie Street, Couva. The pouch contained the Glock fitted with a magazine loaded with 15 rounds of ammunition, a Kydex holster, a Trinidad and Tobago Police Service identification card, a police badge, and a Firearm User's Licence booklet. The recovered items had been stolen earlier that afternoon from a retired police officer's fruit stall.
