TobagoMTS Employee Neisha Roberts Stabbed to Death; Suspect Arrested at Ferry

MTS employee Neisha Roberts was found stabbed to death in the bathroom of her home in Mt St George, Tobago on Tuesday morning, June 30, 2026. A relative discovered her body around 7 am and alerted authorities. A District Medical Officer attended the scene and pronounced Roberts dead at approximately 9:45 am. Police believe the 41-year-old suspect travelled from Tobago to Trinidad following the killing and was apprehended around 2:15 pm on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 after disembarking the Galleons Passage ferry at the Port of Spain terminal. This homicide marks Tobago's seventh murder for 2026. Police investigations are continuing.
