CarapichaimaSupermarket Worker Robbed at Gunpoint by Masked Bandits

Waterloo Road, Park and Shop Supermarket, Carapichaima, Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo

A supermarket employee was robbed by two masked men at Park and Shop Supermarket on Waterloo Road, Carapichaima on Sunday evening, June 7, 2026 around 6:30 p.m. One suspect was armed with a firearm and announced the robbery, demanding cash from the woman while she was conducting sales. The suspects escaped with an undisclosed sum of money and fled the scene in a white hatchback bearing registration number PDE 6376, heading west along Waterloo Road. One suspect was described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, medium build, dressed in dark clothing with a mask and hat. The second suspect was described as about six feet tall, medium build, also in dark clothing. Police are investigating the armed robbery; no arrests have been made at the time of reporting.
