An attorney was beaten and robbed at his residence in Woodford Gardens, Chaguanas on Sunday, June 14, 2026 around 12:30 p.m. when four masked men, one armed with a firearm, jumped the fence and entered through an open front door. The intruders announced a robbery and locked a woman inside a laundry room upstairs after stealing gold jewellery from her. The suspects then forced their way into a bedroom where they confronted the attorney and struck him several times about the head with the butt of a firearm before robbing him of jewellery and TT$10,000 in cash. The suspects fled the scene in a white station wagon and escaped in an unknown direction. Police are investigating the incident; no arrests have been made.
