Lower Santa CruzSemi-Automatic Pistol & Ammunition Seized in G.E.B. Operation

Desamaux Street, Lower Santa Cruz, San Juan, San Juan - Laventille

Police officers from the Guard & Emergency Branch (G.E.B.) led by Corporals Samaroo and Jaisarie conducted an operation on Desamaux Street, Lower Santa Cruz around 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2026. During the operation, officers searched a bushy area off the road based on gathered intelligence. Police Constable Ranjitsingh located and seized a black plastic bag containing a semi-automatic pistol fitted with an extended magazine loaded with 5 live rounds of ammunition. The operation was coordinated by Inspector Piquette and supervised by Sergeants Spring and Adams.
