A pundit's home in El Socorro was broken into on Tuesday, June 16, with TT$8,000 and US$2,500 stolen from a bedroom wardrobe. The victim had secured his home by locking all doors and windows at approximately 4:45 p.m. and returned five hours later to discover a window open and the burglar proof pried open. The North Eastern CSI Unit processed the scene and collected evidence including camera footage from the property. Constable Ball is continuing investigations; a formal statement from the victim was pending at the time of reporting.
