A Venezuelan street vendor was robbed of two bags containing electronic items valued at more than $4,000 on Baggan Avenue, Saddle Road, San Juan on Friday, June 19 at approximately 10:30 a.m. One of two suspects lifted his jersey and revealed an object resembling a firearm tucked into his waistband before demanding the victim surrender his belongings. Fearing for his safety, the vendor handed over both bags containing food processors, a blender, speakers, a camera, an Apple tablet, a Samsung cellphone, an electric shaver and remote controls. After taking the bags, the two suspects escaped on foot heading east along Baggan Avenue. Police visited the scene and conducted checks for CCTV footage in the area, but no footage was obtained.
