A 38-year-old man was attacked with a blade at a garage on S.S. Erin Road near Jacob Settlement, Santa Flora on Friday, June 19 at approximately 4:30 p.m. while performing body work on his vehicle. An argument developed between the victim and a man known to him only by appearance after the suspect entered the area and began disturbing the peace. The suspect approached from behind and attacked the victim with an object believed to be a blade, shouting "yuh want to see how bad ah is" before striking. The victim raised his left hand to protect himself during the second attack, and the blade struck his wrist, causing a wound. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle with an unknown registration. The injured man was transported to Siparia Health Facility and then transferred to San Fernando General Hospital, where he remained under treatment.
