Four masked men invaded a residence in Macoya Gardens on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at approximately 1:30 p.m., assaulting a 92-year-old man and robbing the home while a 51-year-old woman and another elderly relative with dementia were present. The elderly man was confronted in the backyard, forced into the living room, and beaten about the head and choked by the intruders. The 51-year-old woman was also ordered to lie on the ground as the suspects ransacked the house and stole several items before fleeing. The suspects were described as four masked men of African descent, with two being short in stature and two tall. Police are investigating the incident; no arrests have been made at this time.
