Grand Bazaar shopping complex car park, San Juan, San Juan - Laventille

Bahadoor Pooransingh, 43, a maintenance worker at Grand Bazaar shopping complex in San Fernando, was shot in the car park on Thursday morning, June 25, 2026. Pooransingh had just parked his vehicle and was walking towards his office when he was attacked and shot. He sustained injuries from the shooting and was transported to Mt. Hope Hospital; his condition remains unknown. Police responded to the scene and are investigating the circumstances of the shooting. Further details are expected as the investigation continues.
