Officers of the Northern North Division seized approximately 105 grams of cannabis concealed inside a wardrobe during a search of a mini mart and adjoining residence on Kingdom Avenue, Maturita, Arima on Sunday 28th June, 2026. A 43-year-old woman was arrested and cautioned for possession of cannabis. The woman was conveyed to the Pinto Police Post along with the seized exhibit. The operation was conducted as part of a State of Emergency intelligence-led exercise spearheaded by Supt. McKenzie and ASP Balewa, with coordination by Sgt. Trancoso and Ag. Sgt. Forgenie.
