Officers of the Western Division executed a search warrant at a Quarry Street, Diego Martin home on Friday, July 3, 2026, between 4:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., recovering one Smith & Wesson .38 Special revolver loaded with five rounds, four rounds of 5.56 ammunition, six rounds of 9mm ammunition, and three additional rounds of .38 Special ammunition. Approximately 30 plastic pots and grow bags containing cannabis plants, cultivation equipment, approximately 18 grams of suspected cocaine, and TT$6,440 in cash were also recovered from the premises. Crime Scene Investigators processed the scene and all exhibits were conveyed to the West End Police Station. A 33-year-old man was arrested and remains in police custody pending charges for possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of cocaine, and cultivation of cannabis.
