Sea View GardensWoman Bound, Robbed at Gunpoint During Home Invasion

Apartment, Sea View Gardens, Diego Martin
Map showing crime location

A 36-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint during a violent home invasion at her apartment in Sea View Gardens early Thursday, July 9, 2026, shortly before 1 a.m. Two masked men forced their way into her locked bedroom while she slept; one armed with a silver handgun ordered her not to move while the second wielded a knife and tied her up with a T-shirt. The knife-wielding suspect removed his mask during the robbery and spoke on a cellphone, apparently receiving instructions from someone on the other end of the line. The bandits escaped with a Samsung S22 cellphone, two 42-inch TCL smart televisions, a jewellery box containing several pieces of jewellery, $1,000 in cash, and the keys to the victim's blue Suzuki Swift, which they then drove away in. Police investigations are continuing into the incident; no arrests have been made.
