CouvaThieves Break Into California Church, Steal Supplies

The California Open Bible Church on Railway Road, Couva was broken into sometime between Sunday, July 5 at 11:00 a.m.

The California Open Bible Church on Railway Road, Couva was broken into sometime between Sunday, July 5 at 11:00 a.m. and Tuesday, July 7 at 6:40 p.m., with thieves stealing toiletries, cleaning supplies, and a whiteboard. The pastor secured the church on Sunday morning and returned on Tuesday evening to discover a glass window on the southern side of the building had been smashed. Investigators determined the intruders gained entry by breaking the window and exited through the same route. The value of the stolen items is still being determined. Police are investigating the break-in; no arrests have been made.
