Penal312.77g Cannabis and Military Equipment Seized from Residence

Officers conducting Operation Resolute Shield discovered 312.77 grams of cannabis at the residence of a 21-year-old unemployed man on Addie Street, Penal during a search conducted between 6:00 p.m. on Saturday 11th July and 2:00 a.m. on Sunday 12th July, 2026. Officers also recovered military and police-issued equipment including one camouflage pants, one camouflage hat, one blue bulletproof vest, one holster and one black hat from the same residence. The 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with the findings. The operation was coordinated by multiple units including the Penal Criminal Investigations Department, Oropouche Criminal Investigations Department, HPPU, SWDTF and the K-9 Unit under the authority of Legal Notice No. 40 of the Emergency Powers Regulations, 2026.
