Eddy's Bar on Penal Quinam Road, Penal was broken into in the early hours of Tuesday, May 19, 2026, with thieves stealing $42,582 in cash representing sales, along with cigarettes valued at $4,451, liquor worth $3,340, a DVR, and a Samsung tablet. The thieves gained access to the establishment by removing the latch to a steel security door. The total value of items stolen exceeded $50,000 TTD. Police have not yet confirmed arrests or the status of the investigation.
