An 18-year-old was beaten and robbed of his cellphone, cash, and identification during an early morning attack on Carlton Avenue, St. James on Monday at approximately 2:15 a.m. According to police, an unidentified vehicle pulled up alongside the victim as he was walking east, and two men exited and announced a robbery. The suspects assaulted the teenager, dealing several blows about his body before stealing his red iPhone 12 valued at TT$3,000, TT$400 in cash, and his identification card. The attackers fled the scene in the waiting vehicle. WPC Juman is leading the investigation; no arrests have been made.
