Child and Two Adults Wounded in Targeted Laventille Drive-By Shooting

Village Council Street, Laventille, Port of Spain

Three bystanders, including an 11-year-old child, a 40-year-old woman, and a 20-year-old man, were hospitalized following a drive-by shooting near Village Council, Laventille. The victims all sustained gunshot wounds to their lower limbs and are in stable condition. Investigators believe the attack was targeted at a man recently released under the State of Emergency (SOE), who was present at the scene but escaped injury.
