Police located a silver Mazda wagon (registration PCL 7286) abandoned along Angeline Street near the Morvant cemetery on Saturday night following a separate shooting incident in the area. First responders discovered a man of East Indian descent slumped across the front passenger seat with a gunshot wound to the back of his head. The man showed no signs of life and was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle had a shattered back windscreen and lowered right rear passenger window. Crime scene investigators recovered six spent 5.56 shell casings from the scene. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and its possible connection to the earlier shooting on Chinapoo Road.
