Woman found knifed to death near Eddie Hart Grounds (mid-20s to early 30s)

A woman's body was discovered beneath a bridge near the Eddie Hart Grounds in Tacarigua on Wednesday morning around 11 a.m. by officers on patrol along the Priority Bus Route. The victim, described as a dark-skinned woman of African descent appearing to be in her mid-20s to early 30s, bore multiple chop wounds. Her identity was unknown at the time of reporting, though police noted she was often seen in the area with other individuals, some of whom were homeless. The body was transported to a mortuary in Champs Fleurs for examination. The Region Two Homicide Bureau is investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, and police are appealing to the public for information about the victim's identity or details related to the incident.
